Butter: Butter is made with fermented cream or whipped milk. And then after some time, the butterfat is separated from the buttermilk automatically. Butter is used in cooking for baking various cakes. It is also used in greasing baking trays.

Cream cheese, as well as butter, has a small portion of carbs in it. But butter contains a lesser amount of carbs than cream cheese as 100 grams of cream cheese contain 5.5 grams of carbs and on the other hand 100 grams of butter contains only 0.06 grams of carbs. 

  • Sugar

  • Saturated fat

Both butter and cream cheese contain a very high amount of saturated fat which is not good for the heart. In comparison, butter has more saturated fat than cream cheese. 100 grams of butter has almost 50.5 grams of saturated fat whereas 100 grams of cream cheese has 20.2 grams of saturated fat.
